Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp Prequel / Mitch Rapp Facts

So tonight I got to thinking about Mitch Rapp and what it was like when he first joined the CIA. Of course the reason I was thinking about this is because Vince Flynn's next book will be about Mitch Rapp in his younger days. Speaking of which, in Vince Flynn's latest newsletter, he discusses this very point:

It's the birth of Rapp... how he was recruited and trained, his first kill and his first act of insubordination that lands him in the ultimate snake pit. His superiors back in D.C. know he has some unique talents, but even they could not have guessed just how brutally efficient he would be at bringing the fight to the enemy.

As this next book will most likely be released in October 2010, just as most of his previous books have, I am left wondering about Mitch Rapp...and then I remembered the Top Ten Mitch Rapp Facts that TheThirdOption.net developed together years ago - November 2006! Vince Flynn/Mitch Rapp Movie Call to Arms (or Call to Filming that is...)

So, here I sit on my couch. What is today's date? That's right after checking the bottom right corner of my screen and placing that cursor over the time, there it is...November 7, 2009. November 7...now what is on my mind, or for that matter, the minds of Vince Flynn fans right now? I'm taking a guess, and maybe it's just a stab in the dark, or I guess it might just be due to the over 50,000 views of one particular thread on TheThirdOption.net, 'New and Improved Rapp Movie Thread.' Hmm, I bet it's not just me when I say I am truly looking forward to some news on the upcoming Vince Flynn/Mitch Rapp movie!

Now let's backup to when you and I (all of us Vince Flynn fans) first heard about CBS Films optioning the rights of the Mitch Rapp character to produce a Mitch Rapp Movie Franchise. We have been eagerly waiting for a Vince Flynn movie starring the unbelievable, amazing, incredible, unstoppable counterterrorism operative Mitch Rapp, a.k.a. Mitch Kruse, since first hearing about this movie deal back on ... February 14, 2008. And can you say wow? I actually typed 2009 and double-checked; boy was I wrong...2008!
